How To Grow From Your First Failed Business Venture?

Okay, so your first business ideal didn’t go so well. I’m here to tell you is okay!! More than half of business started will fail within there first year of business. Now, I know I looks like the world is working against you and your business but it’s not. The problem with most start ups, is that they either don’t have enough money, enough product, or enough business knowledge. One of the great things about been your own boss is that you can evaluate the process and make improvements at any point in your journey!

My first business venture was a very small metaphysical shop in Nashville, TN. I was still working full time so I would leave my day job and clock in at my night on lol! I had rats in my ceiling so I had to play music and keep the incense going to keep them from scaring away my customers. I closed my shop after 4 months and moved! I made no profit from that location but it was amazing! It felt so good to have my own shop no matter how many little feet I heard running across the ceiling! When I got done with this experience I truly had to evaluate. I took a look at what I did good and what I felt went bad. As I was doing this I walked myself into my next business opportunity.

You can’t get stuck on shoulda, coulda, wouldas! You have to know and understand all things happen for a reason. Maybe you were not actually ready for this process but you needed to just know you could. Sometime the universe will put us in line with our blessings and we cower away in fear of fail. STOP BEING AFRIAD TO FAIL!!! Fail is a stepping stone, not a roadblock! Once you accept defeat you can move on towards redemption(this is the fun part)!!

Once you have evaluated you situation and why this business idea didn’t quite work, it’s time to redeem yourself for yourself! This is your journey and you must always remember you are doing this for yourself not anyone else! Now, one thing that I do want to remind you of, is staying humble. While you are going through your redemption process you may start to notice that this time is a it easier. You may also start forget where you came from and that is the problem. If you stay ready you ain’t gotta get ready! Remind yourself daily of your why. Why am I doing this? When your intent changes behind growth, growth becomes easier! You’ve got everything you need to grow and learn from your mistakes, the question is..... are you ready?
